Early Childhood Educator (multiple positions) Multiple Positions: Educators (Certificate III or Diploma-qualified) Positions are part-time, 37.5 hours per week. We have multiple vacancies to fill, with rosters based on a 6.45am - 6pm schedule. Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a love for nurturing young minds? We are seeking a dynamic Educator to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre and make a positive impact on the lives of our little learners. Employment type Fixed term position available, commencing 6January 2026 to 7 August 2026. This is a fixed term appointment whilst one of our Educators takes parental leave. About us The Early Learning Centre at Saint Stephen’s College is a 68-place, three-room service providing early education and care for children aged 2.5 years to school age. Key Responsibilities Engage with children through creative and educational activities, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Assist the room leader with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities under the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Build strong relationships with children and their families. Assist with observations and support children’s developmental needs by sharing observations with senior educators for documentation and planning. Collaborate with the team to create a well-rounded educational experience. Protecting our Children All children have a right to be safe and protected from harm and neglect. Qualifications and Requirements AnACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or be actively working towards a completion of one of these qualifications. A passion for early childhood education and understanding of children’s growth and development. Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten guidelines and able to implement age appropriate programming. Experience as an Educator. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents. Mandatory Clearances/Certifications Blue Card, in accordance with ‘No Card, No Link, No Start law’, as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
