Facilitator - Drink & Drive Behaviour Change Program (Social Worker or Community Development) Located in Frankston Classification: Social Worker Grade 2 (Year 1-4*) or Community Development Leader (Grade 2A year 2-2B year 7*) On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health. The Team & Role The position, which sits within Community Health, delivers the VicRoads Drink Drug Drive Behaviour Change Program (DDD BCP), to assist clients to explore their values and take action to separate between substance use and driving and meet their requirements for being re-licensed. The facilitator delivers a group behaviour change program founded in Motivational Interviewing framework as well as 1:1 sessions in accordance with the VicRoads program manual. In addition, the facilitator's role includes the screening for AOD use and making referrals if risk and need is identified. Documentation and administration responsibilities are in keeping with other clinical roles. For further info please click: Position Description Skills and Experience Required Bachelor level qualifications in Social Work, Health, Human Services or related discipline Foundation Skills Motivational Interviewing training (minimum of 14Hrs/2 day facilitated training Applicants with 2 years of experience in group work and/or working with mandated clients within the AOD sector will be well regarded Social Workers that are grade 1 are also encouraged to apply.
