About the Company The reputable civil contractor has built a strong name in the infrastructure space, delivering high quality projects ranging from $10m to $25m. Off the back of recent growth and new project wins, they are looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator to join their team on a major transport project in Sydney. About the Position Working closely with the Project Manager, you will take ownership of safety on site, ensuring compliance with all protocols and actively contributing to the project’s risk management framework. You'll be backed by a professional and supportive team that values collaboration and continuous improvement. Duties Oversee on site safety and ensure compliance with legislation and company standards Assist in the development and implementation of safety management plans Conduct regular inspections, audits and toolbox talks Prepare risk assessments and incident reports Provide guidance and feedback to improve safety performance Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related field 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within civil construction Strong communication and reporting skills Experience with Transport NSW or Sydney Water projects is highly regarded Culture Join a tight knit team that values safety, collaboration and quality delivery.
