Storeperson/ Inventory Controller

We have an opportunity available in our Gold Coast Workshop for a goal orientated Store Person with a high attention to detail, good attitude and the willingness to get in and get the job done. A high regard for safety is essential. Opportunities for career progression for the right person. Experience / Qualifications Certificate III in Warehousing Operations (desirable) Manual driver's license C class. Gantry operations experience preferred but not essential Transport Chain of responsibility, Load and unload goods and secure cargo 5 years' experience of warehousing 2 years' experience of inventory control, including processing through software programs Experience in chemical handling and storage Ability to safely use and operate a range of hand and power tools. Broad knowledge of oil field drilling equipment and/or operations Oil field equipment knowledge an advantage but not essential Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. Have full Australian work rights Primary Duties Local and international purchasing All aspects of Inventory Control Shipping and receiving of goods Monitoring preventative maintenance schedule and arrange service checks on crane, forklift and other inspection equipment as per company processes and procedures Carryout general administrative duties, including reporting, logistics paperwork and other computer work Manage and Maintain SDS software system Loading and unloading trucks, preparing paperwork as required. General yard and workshop duties including cleaning/housekeeping to maintain high levels of health and safety.
