The HammondCare Volunteer program provides opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person, here in Hunter. As a Coffee Cart volunteer you’ll be assisting with making coffee for residents at Waratah. You’ll help operate a cart located inside the facility, serving guests and preparing hot beverages. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience for both the person you visit and you. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation. About HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity focused on improving the quality of life for people in need. We work with a dedicated group of volunteers to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare participates in The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
