Job Title Water Engineer Location Tamworth, New South Wales Employment Type Full-time Description We are seeking Engineers with up to 5 years experience or those close to completing their studies to join our Water Operations Team. This opportunity will see you working across Headworks, Distribution, and Projects and Services Divisions on critical water infrastructure to ensure our community service and environmental sustainability objectives are achieved. Key Opportunities Work in state‑of‑the‑art Water and Wastewater infrastructure. Participate in a unique career development program rotating through multiple disciplines within Council every 12‑18 months. Realise the benefits of living locally in a progressive, growing regional city. Qualifications Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent for Graduate Membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage projects and people to meet deadlines. High level of autonomy, initiative, and drive to succeed. Driver Licence. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre‑employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing. Salary & Benefits Salary range: Grade 16‑19 – $93,519.65 – $121,200.39 per annum plus 12% superannuation, a leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week, Civil Liability Allowance 3.5% added to base salary. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement according to operational requirements.
