Senior Control Systems & Safety Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering innovative automation solutions across complex and rewarding projects. Candidates with safety credentials such as FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland), TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer, or a Graduate Certificate in Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineering are highly regarded, as safety leadership and compliance with IEC standards are integral to this role. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness Provide expert‑level technical support and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) What You Bring Minimum of five years’ experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar high‑risk environments Strong client engagement skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks Demonstrated understanding of functional and / or machine safety standards (e.g., IEC, IEC, ISO) and their application in engineering design and commissioning Safety certifications such as FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland), TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer, or equivalent are highly regarded Commitment to embedding safety into all phases of project delivery, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and SIL verification Preferred Qualifications and Attributes Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills A proactive, safety‑conscious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement We offer a competitive salary and a clear pathway for career development, tailored to your experience and aspirations.
