We are seeking CASUAL employees to work in the various sections of our Laundry, with shift span anytime between 6am to 2am , Monday to Friday (and Saturdays as required). Dandenong Laundry is part of Linen Service Australia the largest linen and textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia. Our Linen Laundry plants manage the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the essential services of healthcare and aged care together with the hospitality and accommodation sectors. Duties Sorting through soiled and dirty linen from hospitals, restaurants, aged care facilities Processing of linen Fast paced production work Machine Operating Labour intensive work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) Following safe work procedures Willingness to be part of our safety culture Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg - 15kg repetitively Flexibility Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work Stable employment opportunities On the job training Supporting and inclusive culture Supported work environments Please note: As a pre-requisite for these roles, candidates will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing and immunisations.
