Staff Specialist – Director Clinical Services Concord Centre for Mental Health – SLHD Mental Health Services (Apply via eCredential) Employment Type : Permanent Full TimePosition Classification : Staff SpecialistRequisition ID : REQ Overview : The Director Clinical Services at Concord Centre for Mental Health (CCMH) holds responsibility as the medical leader and manager of clinical services, medical staff, training, research and quality programs. The Director works with the SLHD Mental Health Executive to provide clinical leadership of mental health services at CCMH, Concord and Canterbury Hospitals, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Services and community mental health services at Croydon and Canterbury Community Health Services. Responsibilities : Provide professional leadership and line management of senior and junior medical staff at CCMH, Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Croydon and Canterbury Community Mental Health Teams. Deliver high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in psychiatry and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service and Hospital. Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to promote evidence-based practice and innovation, enhance clinical engagement and professional practice and standards, and foster a culture of respect, teamwork and continuous performance improvement. Qualifications : Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. Experience in clinical leadership, psychiatric services, research and quality improvement. Salary and Conditions : In accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
