Overview Rowellyn Preschool Committee Inc, a sessional kindergarten in Carrum Downs, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher for a 3‑year‑old program commencing late January 2026. The role is part‑time, with sessions on Friday 8:15 am–3:45 pm. The teacher will deliver a 7‑hour teaching schedule plus 0.5 hour lunch and 3.5 hours non‑teaching duties, for a total of 11 hours per week. Responsibilities Teach the 3‑year‑old program. Possibly support other groups within the centre during extra hours. Maintain high‑quality teaching and documentation according to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Adhere to preschool policies, principles, and philosophies. Qualifications Early childhood Bachelor’s teaching qualification recognised by ACECQA. Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, adrenaline auto‑injector training and Asthma certificates as per the NQR. Proven experience developing and providing high‑quality educational programmes for children using the VEYLDF. Proven experience documenting all aspects of child development. Proficient with educational platforms and computer skills. Current Victorian Early Years Teacher registration. Completed child protection training. Requirements All candidates must hold a current VIT registration.
