Engineering Manager

If you’re passionate about innovation in asset management, we want to hear from you Description You will report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in shaping asset management strategies. We need someone who can: Challenge the status quo and identify opportunities where AI, automation, and new technologies can add value. Research and explore emerging tech, keeping the business at the forefront of innovation. Lead change while working collaboratively across the business to drive continuous improvement. Bridge traditional asset management principles with modern, technology-driven approaches. Key Responsibilities: Research and evaluate new technologies, including AI, automation, and predictive maintenance tools. Challenge conventional thinking to find innovative solutions that improve asset reliability. Collaborate with the General Manager and senior leadership to shape the future of asset management. Implement data-driven decision-making processes to enhance efficiency and cost savings. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, reducing downtime and operational risks. Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective asset management. Ad-hoc site visits as required to support operational needs and ensure asset integrity. Profile Considerable engineering experience in asset management, maintenance, or reliability. Experience in energy, mining, or chemical industries preferred. Proven leadership skills, with experience driving innovation and operational improvements. A strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technology, with a willingness to research and implement new solutions. Problem-solving mindset, with a passion for challenging traditional ways of working. Financial and commercial acumen, ensuring cost-effective asset lifecycle management. RPEQ registration (or ability to obtain within six months). Chartered membership of a relevant engineering professional organization (desirable).
