About the School Halls Creek District High School (DHS) is located in the Central Kimberley Region between Broome and Kununurra. Most students come from Halls Creek, Mardiwa Loop, and Nicholson Block, with additional commuting from surrounding communities. DHS has approximately 320 students, 98% Aboriginal enrollment, and offers a high‑expectation culture in partnership with the Kimberley Schools Project. Location and Community Schools in the Remote Teaching Service are often in isolated areas where students are predominantly Aboriginal. The Role We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic teacher to promote Physical Education and Health, coordinate school sporting events, and foster positive student relationships. Knowledge of the WA Physical and Health Education curriculum and reporting schedule is highly desirable.
