Great Northern Tanks, a leading manufacturer of high-quality water storage tanks, is seeking a talented and experienced Production / Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in our Toowoomba, Queensland facility and will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient production and distribution of our products. What you'll be doing Supervise and coordinate the day‑to‑day production activities, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are maintained Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods Manage the scheduling and allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and inventory Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity Liaise with cross‑functional teams, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to the production and logistics team Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations What we're looking for Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or logistics supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing industry Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Proficient in the use of production management software and data analysis tools Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams Commitment to continuous improvement and a keen eye for identifying and implementing process efficiencies Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as Operations Management or Supply Chain Management, is preferred What we offer Competitive remuneration Opportunities for career development Range of benefits including discounted products and flexible work arrangements Healthy work‑life balance and ongoing training and development About us Great Northern Tanks is a leading manufacturer of durable and reliable water storage tanks, serving customers across Australia.
