About the role Ontex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Operations Finance team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing analyst to gain strong exposure across finance, commercial operations, and manufacturing within a global organisation. We are looking for someone who can commence in January 2026 , however candidates who are available to start immediately are also encouraged to apply. Reporting to the Commercial Controller , the Junior Business Analyst will provide financial reporting, operational insights and data analysis to support decision-making across our manufacturing operations. The role is designed for someone early in their career who is keen to build a strong foundation in both financial and operational analytics. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare weekly and monthly P&L, cost and variance reports Support month‑end closing activities Analyse labour, overhead and operational costs Monitor KPIs and highlight trends or variances Maintain and update Power BI dashboards Budgeting and Forecasting Assist with annual budgets and rolling forecasts Consolidate inputs from procurement, supply chain and operations Support financial modelling and scenario planning Data and Systems Management Ensure accuracy and integrity of ERP data (SAP, Oracle or equivalent) Extract, clean and prepare sales, website and distributor data Maintain customer pricing files, product GTINs and volume records Commercial and Operational Support Track daily pricing updates and expiring contracts Manage rebates and pricing queries Support finance and commercial teams with data insights Document SOPs for reporting, pricing and data management Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for cost optimisation Improve reporting processes and automation Support alignment between finance and commercial operations About You Essential Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field 1–2 years’ experience in a financial or business analyst role Strong analytical and numerical skills Advanced Excel skills and competency with Power BI or similar BI tools Ability to interpret financial and operational data Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Desirable Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, healthcare or supply chain environments Exposure to SAP or equivalent ERP systems Understanding of accounting principles Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability Why Join Ontex?
