Junior Business Analyst

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a motivated Junior Business Analyst to contribute to ongoing product development, client delivery, and operational growth. About the Role The Junior Business Analyst will work closely with executives, product owners, and technical teams to support requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, data analysis, and solution implementation. This is a hands‑on, learning‑focused role suitable for someone early in their career who is eager to develop strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities in a fast‑growing tech environment. Australian work rights are required for this position and candidates MUST be based in Melbourne, Victoria to be considered for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a business analyst or related role. Key Responsibilities Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements for new features, platform enhancements, and customer onboarding projects. Support the creation of process maps, workflow diagrams, and solution documentation using standard BA tools. Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in preparing test cases, test scripts, and feedback reports. Work with clients and internal teams to clarify requirements and support successful project delivery. Maintain accurate documentation including user guides, change logs, and system specifications. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations, product, and customer experience. Skills & Experience Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret data, workflows, and system behaviour. Professional experience with business processes, requirements gathering and system development lifecycles is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Monday.com (or other work management software), Slack. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience or exposure to financial services, mortgage broking, fintech, or compliance environments. Familiarity with technical tools such as Figma, Lucidchart, or similar including AI tools to assist in document compositions. Fluency is Postman, Bruno and other API testing software is desired. A basic understanding of AWS is desired. Understanding of API‑driven platforms, automation tools, or document processing technologies.
