Arakawa is our contemporary Japanese a la carte restaurant, blending tradition with innovation to create an extraordinary dining experience. We celebrate the art of Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki, bringing modern creativity to the table, whilst our guests enjoy fresh, authentic flavours and a lively, immersive atmosphere. From recommending dishes to delivering impeccable service, you'll be part of a dynamic team that takes pride in showcasing great service and contemporary Japanese flavours with a twist. Your key responsibilities will include: From greeting to farewell, provide attentive service, interact and obtain feedback with guests Food & beverage table service, set up & clearing of tables Reconciliation of the check/bill, POS & EFTPOS Communicating clearly with the kitchen, bar & wider team What you’ll need to be successful Availability & flexibility to work in multi-outlets on a 7 day rotating roster evenings, weekends & public holidays Current QLDRSA Certificate Experience working in a fast pace team environment, carrying 3 plates of food and a tray of drinks for table service Beverage menu knowledge of wine varieties, beer, spirits & cocktails Attention to detail, excellent communication skills & the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner with a desire to deliver a polished & high standard of service Excellent personal presentation We are offering Competitive hourly rate + penalties for evenings, weekends & public holidays Generous employee benefits & discounts on RACV products & resorts Employee of the month awards & recognition programs Training, career development and opportunities to cross train in multi-outlets Uniform Parking onsite The RACV difference Be part of a team who cares.
