We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager at Bass Coast Specialist School to lead the OSHC program in a specialist school setting. This role is a key part of the Victorian Government’s High Intensity OSHC initiative (find out more at: High Intensity Outside School Hours Care Initiative for students with disabilities | vic.gov.au). The service is fully funded by the Victorian Government and operates at a high staff to child ratios to appropriately meet the needs of each participant (approximately 1 educator for every 2 children). About The Role The opportunity to help lead the OSHC service and support local families by providing quality before and after school care and holiday programs for their child in a specialist school setting. Responsibilities Help plan and prepare child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school setting. Maintain a high staff-to-student ratio to ensure every child’s individual needs are met (1:2, 1:1, 2:1). Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and reflective practice. Rostering for your service with support from your Area Manager. Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks. Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualized care. Provide career development and progression pathways. Generate generous resource budgets. Be the face of TheirCare in your school community, creating lasting relationships along the way. Skills and Experience You are an engaging individual who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives. Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services. Confidence in behavioural management for children with high and complex needs. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Exhibit TheirCare values: Caring, Open and Engaged. Requirements Completed or in the process of completing an ACECQA recognised qualification, including but not limited to studies in Teaching, Childcare or Community Services. Employee Working with Children Check valid in Victoria. Valid First Aid Certificate including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training. Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting.
