You’ll be part of Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets division, developing software solutions in close partnership with our APAC Power, Gas, and Carbon business. You will write code to deliver cutting-edge solutions that unlock revenue-generating opportunities. Co-located with the trading desk, you will collaborate closely with traders and managers to design, build, deploy, and support systems that drive business success. You will own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, from gathering requirements and development to testing and production deployment, directly influencing trading operations, risk management, and analytics in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. What you offer Strong back-end programming skills with a deep understanding of software engineering and computer science best practices for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code 3+ years of professional experience building software products in close collaboration with end users Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in fast-paced, business-facing environments Ownership experience across the development process, with strong interest in the full software delivery lifecycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support Back-end development experience with Python.
