Position Overview Manager – Craignish Country Club Hotel, Fraser Coast area. The Craignish Country Club Hotel is part of the Hervey Bay RSL Group and is situated adjacent to the Craignish Golf Course just outside Hervey Bay. This role offers the opportunity to lead a small community hotel, overseeing operational, staffing and gaming functions. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations and staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality hospitality service. Assist in growing bar, gaming and food operations, meeting key performance indicators and implementing approved operational plans. Mentor, motivate and manage the team to achieve business objectives. Maintain exceptional service standards across all venues. Handle gaming duties, regulatory compliance, and register reconciliation. Drive revenue growth while upholding product and service standards aligned with company values. Ensure an outstanding guest experience and maintain a positive work environment in partnership with the catering department. Candidate Profile – Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years managing a hospitality venue. Hospitality tertiary qualifications. Understanding of industry awards. Experience creating weekly rosters and maintaining timesheets via TANDA. Strong knowledge of gaming management. Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capability to improve staff culture, service levels and handle customer complaints. Excellent organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills. Capabilities in food, beverage and gaming product knowledge. Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations. Confidence, drive and enthusiasm. Proven leadership across multiple hospitality departments. Experience in staff training, motivation and conflict resolution. Determination to maintain high standards and exceed customer expectations. Held Certificates: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG), Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue (RMLV) with licence, Food Handling Certificate and Current First Aid Certificate.
