The Role Due to continued growth, we are seeking a full-time Mechanical Plumber – Field Service to join our experienced service team. This hands‑on role is critical to delivering safe, high‑quality installation, maintenance, and repair work on industrial boiler and steam systems across customer sites. You will be required to participate in an on‑call roster and work overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities Installation, maintenance and repair of industrial boilers, steam and hot water systems Mechanical plumbing works including pipework installation, modification, and repair, valves, pumps, steam traps, pressure equipment and associated components Pipe welding and fabrication (carbon steel / stainless as required) Mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics and fault finding onsite Start‑up, commissioning and performance testing of boiler/steam plant Scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance and shutdown support Installation of mechanical controls and related equipment Support for onsite project works and upgrades Qualifications & Experience To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Plumbing trade qualification Type A Plumbing registration or licence (required) Mechanical plumbing experience in an industrial or commercial environment Type B Gas Fitting (highly desirable – training available for the right candidate) Strong diagnostic and remedial skills across mechanical and steam plant equipment Proven pipe welding experience (favorable) Manual Driver’s Licence White Card (Construction) Solid understanding of welding principles and safe work practices Registration or licensing in plumbing and gas fitting fields will be required for this role.
