Bring your smile and administration skills - Casual reception desk assistance required Coonara Community House – Ferntree Gully VIC Imagine starting your day with a friendly, welcoming team among the beautiful grounds at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges Enjoy social interactions while keeping the house running like a dream Coonara Community House requires a casual reception and administration superstar to join the team who is an outgoing, positive and compassionate person. As a casual receptionist, you will fill shifts on a needs basis. Reception days may vary depending on available shifts. Shifts are Mondays to Fridays 9am to 4pm - where possible advanced notice will be given when a shift needs to be covered. As the first point of contact, this role is ideal for someone who is organised and confident in dealing with people from all walks of life, providing a welcoming smile and presenting a professional experience to the community. You must be confident with reception duties, such as answering phones, using computers and be able to manage and prioritise tasks while on reception. Experience in reception, office administration and customer service preferred. Skills required: Strong organisational and interpersonal skills Experience working with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and use of a database Quick, creative thinking and problem solving; independent decision making Empathy with the goals and philosophy of Coonara Community House. Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
