Operating to ISO 27001 standards, the engineering team works closely with business leaders in a collaborative, high-accountability environment. This is a hands‑on role for a Software Developer who thrives on building, improving, and scaling modern SaaS platforms. You will be coding daily, shaping architecture as the business grows, and working directly with service delivery, product, and verification teams to deliver new capabilities used internationally. What you will do Translate complex business requirements into elegant, maintainable software. Build secure, testable services and user interfaces using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB (essential) . Contribute to the evolution from a monolithic system toward modular, service-oriented architecture. Design and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with third‑party data and verification providers. Strengthen automated test coverage and uplift CI/CD reliability. Participate in shared operational support and incident response. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring where relevant. Tech environment TypeScript, Node.js, React, Jest, MongoDB (primary store), Amazon Aurora on RDS where suitable. Hosted on AWS using Elastic Beanstalk, ECS Fargate, Lambda, and Step Functions. Infrastructure as code with AWS CloudFormation. Security and operational practices aligned to ISO 27001. What you will bring 7+ years’ experience in professional software development. Strong MERN expertise across both backend and React UI. Depth in MongoDB data modelling, indexing, and performance tuning. Confidence writing and maintaining automated tests. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines. Clear, collaborative communicator who enjoys direct interaction with non‑technical teams. Curiosity for AI‑assisted development and productivity tooling. Working pattern Sydney‑based.
