Location & Employment Location: Queensland – MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AWAY Employment type: Full-time Company PCA Ground Engineering is an innovative company offering design and construction ground engineering services to both private and public sector clients. We target both subcontract and principal subcontractor works, and we are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in Southeast Queensland. Role As a Site Engineer, you’ll support our Project Engineers and Project Managers in delivering Civil Construction, Piling, Ground Engineering and Geotechnical projects across Queensland. Open to experienced candidates and recent graduates. We welcome all applications Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with creating, distributing, and managing project QA/QC documentation and procedures. Inspect project construction sites to ensure conformance to design specifications and standards. Work closely with estimating, engineering and construction teams to ensure projects are managed efficiently and add value to PCA’s clients. Participate in and support industry best practice, health, safety and environmental initiatives. Carry out Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities within the design team. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant qualifications. Preferred experience in civil, foundation or slope stability projects. Graduates or candidates with similar backgrounds encouraged to apply. "Can do" attitude – seeks solutions and solves problems. Experience in ground engineering (piled foundations and/or slope stability) is favourable. Proficient in MS Project (or similar) and MS Office programs. Clear written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. Requirements Must be able to travel for work as required. Although not a regular FIFO position, travel and working rosters on projects away from head office will be part of the job. Candidate must be reasonably proficient in the use of MS Project and MS Office. Benefits An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate in line with their experience. The role will be based in the Northern Region; candidates who live in or near the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Northern NSW and Southeast Queensland areas have an advantage, but living in the area is not mandatory.
