Job no: Work type: Full TimeLocation: Melbourne - North As Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plastic sorting facility during your shift. You’ll lead a team to deliver key operational metrics across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP), while fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement. Lead and nurture a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance and proactive hazard management. Manage shift operations to meet production targets and quality standards. Prioritise tasks to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery. Develop team capability through effective coaching, communication, and performance management. Collaborate across shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations and reporting. Actively participate in divisional efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle. Leading a team of between 20 25 members. What you will bring to the team: Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Technical understanding of mechanical systems and production processes. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Flexibility to work rotational shifts and adapt to changing site needs. Forklift and front-end loader license (desirable).
