How about being awalking buddy for an older person? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteerto visit a thoughtful elderly lady who’s feeling a bit lonely and would like tomeet a buddy to visit her for a walk. Your time and company could make a worldof difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa couldtruly lift her spirits. Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.
