The Role As our National Sales Director, you'll be the driving force behind our ambitious growth strategy, leading a high-performing sales team to secure major national accounts and expand our market share. Key Highlights Lead national B2B sales strategy across multimodal logistics. Drive growth in 3PL/4PL, project freight, and sustainable transport solutions. Manage high‑performing sales team across multiple states. Engage directly with C‑suite clients and strategic partners. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a high‑impact national sales strategy to achieve double‑digit growth across key verticals. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of regional sales managers, setting KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Build and nurture C‑suite relationships with key clients in FMCG, retail, manufacturing, and government sectors, delivering customized proposals leveraging our multimodal capabilities. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new business opportunities, including cross‑border and over‑dimensional freight. Collaborate with operations leaders to ensure seamless proposal‑to‑delivery transitions, optimizing pricing, contracts, and service levels. Represent Tasman at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Track KPIs including revenue growth, client retention, and pipeline velocity. Report monthly to executive leadership. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a National Sales Director or equivalent in logistics, transport, or supply chain (5+ years in senior sales leadership). Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, ideally with multimillion‑dollar account wins in freight, warehousing, or 3PL services. Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Exceptional leadership skills to inspire diverse teams across multiple states, with a commitment to inclusion and professional development.
