As a Senior Tech Lead – Informatica , you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and leading scalable ETL solutions that power our data transformation agenda. You’ll guide a high-performing team, drive technical excellence, and help shape the future of our technology landscape. If you're ready to lead with impact, embrace innovation, and collaborate in an agile environment—this is your opportunity Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and design of robust ETL solutions using Informatica, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and maintainability. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the ETL development team, promoting best practices in data engineering. Continuously evaluate and enhance development workflows and tools to improve team efficiency. Offer expert guidance on technical issues, solutions, and best practices across development teams. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to support their growth and capability uplift. Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex cross-platform service issues throughout the application lifecycle. Ensure adherence to Westpac’s standards and processes to meet regulatory and compliance obligations. What do I need? Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a major in Software Engineering (or equivalent). 10+ years of experience in IT, focused on systems development, support, and maintenance. Strong database management skills across Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata, with proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and related tools, including ETL design, development, and performance tuning. Solid experience in systems integration and shell scripting. Familiarity with version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
