About the Role Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking to recruit an Insolvency Supervisor. This is a full-time, hybrid role and can be located in any of our national offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra). We operate a collegiate work model where you will work directly with Principals and are actively encouraged and supported to pursue your own career objectives. This role will provide you with exposure to a full range of formal insolvency appointments such as voluntary administrations, liquidation, receiverships and bankruptcy as well as informal engagements such as investigative accounting and restructuring/turnaround engagements. Responsibilities In conjunction with the appointee and your manager, assist in the administration of formal and informal insolvency matters (corporate and personal), including preparation of statutory reports and providing guidance to your direct reports about the day to day requirements of the appointment; Complete investigations into an entity’s finances including the analysis of financial statements, accounting and business records and provide recommendations to your manager as to the outcomes; Maintain records and ensure statutory guidelines are met; Developing strategic solutions for clients; Be committed to learning and developing your technical understanding of insolvency concepts and developing and growing those skills within the team; Ensure that junior team members are adhering to our standards and processes and that the instructions on the tasks are being followed in a timely manner; Ensure that junior team members are provided with additional instructions and guidance as required to assist in the completion of tasks Requirements Must have a minimum 4 years Insolvency experience in a similar role with similar client base Well-developed insolvency technical knowledge and capable of managing multiple files Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification ARITA qualified or working towards qualification Join a rapidly growing national insolvency firm with a supportive culture, where we celebrate our staff and their successes The opportunity to join a dynamic and talented team of professionals who are responsible for shaping the future of the business We support flexible working arrangements for the right candidates (post training) Reap the benefits of a team that are well-connected in the industry and enjoy regular networking opportunities Be well supported in completing further education and continued professional development with paid study leave and full financial support for relevant professional qualifications (ARITA, CPA, CAANZ) Regular in person all staff social and learning events Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to enhance the emotional, mental, and general psychological wellbeing of all team members Salary band 100-125k (inclusive of super) Other Details Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Industries Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
