Graduate Trainee – Compliance

Responsibilities Responsible for tracking all interactions with Australia regulators in an organized and auditable manner. Responsible for responding to some Regulator inquiries either in written form (drafting documented responses) or on conference calls. Responsible for executing the implementation of the supporting documentation required to meet the regulatory requirements of all SG Australian entities including manuals, obligations registers and local policies. Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization. Responsible for the execution of some controls and approvals, especially Personal account dealing approvals and tracking and visitors' management and tracking. Responsible for preparatory work related to Compliance training program Responsible for production of regional reporting and other regional projects as required. Assist Compliance management with the preparation of Committee meeting materials. Other daily tasks include assisting the compliance team to manage day to day compliance obligations, and compliance team mailbox management. Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies. Remain up to date on the legislative, regulatory environment that SG operates in. Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference. Review existing policies that require review and updating. Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Required Tertiary qualification in Law and another discipline (e.g. Arts, Commerce, Economics or Science) or Business degree.
