We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our Eastern Guruma & Wirlu-murra Enterprises Joint Venture team on an 8:6 FIFO roster on a prominent Pilbara mine site. About this role Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with site Supervisors, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of training and assessment for civil mobile plant operators on site. This includes developing and implementing training resources, conducting assessments, and ensuring all training records are accurate and up to date. Responsibilities Deliver high quality training and assessment in line with company and client requirements Working closely with the Superintendent and Supervisors to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of training Develop, review and implement training and assessment resources and materials mapped to company qualifications Maintain and update training and assessment records, training databases and associated documentation Build and maintain strong working relationship with client, other contractors and the community Support Supervisors with the training of employees in hazard recognition and safe work practices Keep up to date with changes in national competency standards and implement required changes to training materials Provide expert advice, information and resources to meet specific training needs across the project Qualifications Must have civil machinery experience including Excavator (up to 50t), Water Cart, Roller, Tippers, Dozer (D6, D9) and Grader Minimum 5-10 years of civil machinery experience required Essential mining experience required for civil machinery operations Excellent verbal and written communications skills Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience in developing and implementing site-based training and assessment resources and materials Current Apply First Aid certificate Current C class manual drivers licence (minimum) Australian citizenship or permanent residency required If you think you're the right person for the job, apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
