About The Role Reporting to the Case Manager, this role focuses on supporting the day‑to‑day program operations in the organisation and supporting youth workers to develop and improve practice and drive positive outcomes for the young people in our care. You will work collegially with the Case Manager to support and implement program structure and consistency, and you will provide on‑floor support to young people in the program each day, with one day allocated as your admin day. Responsibilities Staff and program inductions for all new employees in residential programs Rostering of staff, ensuring over and under‑utilisation is kept to a minimum Assist with recruitment and conduct interviews Developing weekly house planner and activity structures Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all youth workers and Case Manager in a professional and timely manner Deliver care, support and guidance to our young people in a trauma‑informed manner and identify their needs Upline both client and stakeholder complaints and incidents promptly and in line with organisational requirements to the Case Manager Complete grocery list and weekly shopping for the program Support staff through reflective supervision, guidance, and strategic long‑term goal setting, as well as training and coaching Compile staff feedback and performance issues to Case Manager and provide weekly handover Support multiple programs in the absence of other House Managers Any other duties as required (eg. Beds/nights) About You The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and young people, is a strong role model, doesn’t take things personally, and can help children and young people explore themselves and their culture with good personal and leadership values. Availability Must be able to do Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, including occasional on‑call duties.
