Are you a Speech Pathology student who's passionate about supporting children to find their voice — and be truly heard? Do you want to work with children and families, not just for them? At Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy, we do things differently. We're a small, heart‑led allied health practice in Campbelltown NSW offering occupational therapy, early childhood intervention, and group therapy — and we're looking for a Speech Therapy Assistant to join our growing team This is an ideal opportunity for a speech pathology student looking to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive, neurodiversity‑affirming practice. You'll be guided by experienced clinicians and work with children aged 0 to 13 years, supporting their communication, social interaction, feeding, and literacy goals. At Believe and Achieve, therapy is grounded in connection, play, and each child's unique strengths. We believe all children deserve to feel safe, respected, and empowered to express themselves in ways that are meaningful to them. This is more than just experience for your studies — it's a chance to build real relationships, celebrate difference, and grow into the kind of therapist you want to be. Are you passionate about helping children to believe in themselves and achieve their goals? This isn't just casual work — it's a chance to be part of something meaningful. What You Can Expect When You Join Our Team at Believe and Achieve Paediatric Therapy Supportive, Real‑World Experience Gain hands‑on experience in a welcoming, neurodiversity‑affirming clinic where your contribution matters. You'll be working alongside experienced clinicians who will support and guide you every step of the way. Warm, Uplifting Team Culture Our small team is kind, down‑to‑earth, and fun to work with. We believe connection, collaboration, and laughter make for a great workplace (and better therapy too). Creative, Play‑Based Clinic Environment You'll love working in our bright, child‑friendly clinic spaces — complete with sensory gyms, playful therapy rooms, and loads of engaging resources to make sessions meaningful. Learning and Growth Opportunities You'll have opportunities to observe sessions, join team PDs, and develop skills that will support your journey to becoming a speechie. Your growth is important to us. Easy to Get To We're located in Campbelltown, just a short walk from the train station with free parking nearby and great local coffee (a must). We're looking for kind, curious, and enthusiastic students who are passionate about supporting kids and ready to make a difference — even in a casual role. What We Are Looking For If the list below sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Personal Attributes A genuine passion for working with children and young people. You're playful, purposeful, and believe every child is capable, unique, and deserving of respect. Commitment to Learning and Growth You're open to exploring a variety of evidence‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming approaches — and excited to keep building your skills. Current or Willing to Obtain Paid Working With Children Check (NSW) NSW Police Check Familiarity with Paediatric Therapy You're studying speech pathology and have been introduced to common approaches — or are keen to build your confidence in providing therapy to young children. Team Player Who Can Also Work Independently You enjoy collaborating with others but also feel comfortable planning and managing simple tasks or parts of a caseload with supervision. Strong communication skills — with little people and big people. You can build warm connections with children, families, and other professionals, and you're developing confidence in communicating both verbally and in writing. Valid Driver's Licence and Reliable Vehicle Some mobile visits may be part of your role, so the ability to travel locally is helpful.
