Base pay range A$160,000.00/yr - A$185,000.00/yr Location: Sydney, near Central station, 4 days in office, 1 day WFH Salary: Up to $180,000 base + super + shares and many more benefits About the Role We\'re looking for an experienced engineer who can design and build complete solutions , not just deliver tickets. You\'ll architect applications end-to-end, make key technical decisions, and stay hands-on writing clean, scalable code every day. Responsibilities Architect and document solutions , selecting appropriate services and patterns for each use case Develop and deploy serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3) Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features end-to-end Ensure system performance, scalability and reliability through good design and testing Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Apply test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks Review technical requirements and provide feedback on specifications Mentor junior developers and uphold engineering standards Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience Proven experience with Node.js and React Strong understanding of solution design, architecture and system integration Solid database experience (relational, NoSQL, OLAP) Extensive experience in cloud/serverless environments (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3) Knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git) and Agile development Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills Nice to Have Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor Familiarity with GraphQL or TypeScript-based API frameworks Why Join High-impact role in a rapidly growing, ASX-listed company Work on systems used daily across a large network of locations Competitive package with bonus and stock options Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries: Retail, Restaurants, and IT System Custom Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
