The Opportunity We’re looking for a proactive and personable Customer Experience Host to join our Balgowlah showroom team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing, hospitality-driven environment and enjoys making every visitor feel welcome. The Role Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating a premium in-store experience — from greeting guests and preparing coffee at our in-showroom bar, to supporting showroom presentation and assisting the Sales and Brand Environment teams. This is a part‑time position, Monday to Friday (Mondays 9am–3pm, Tuesday–Friday 10am–4pm). Prepare and serve quality coffee and tea to showroom visitors, ensuring a premium standard of service. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the showroom coffee bar, replenishing supplies as required. Greet customers warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming, professional first impression. Support Sales Consultants by directing customers and providing general assistance. Maintain showroom presentation throughout the day — refreshing décor, resetting cushions, and tidying product settings. Collaborate with the Brand Environment team to uphold showroom visual standards. Assist the Commercial and Retail teams with ad-hoc operational and event-based tasks as required. About You Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality (barista experience highly regarded). RSA certification preferred (for events or alcohol service). Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, professional manner. High attention to detail and pride in showroom presentation. Proactive, self‑motivated, and flexible in your approach to tasks. Excellent communication and time management skills. Team‑oriented, with a strong customer‑first mindset.
