Job Description We’re looking for a Strategic Solutions Specialist – a dynamic and motivated individual who can identify customer needs, present effective solutions, and build long‑lasting relationships. This role drives sales and provides exceptional customer solutions within the Road Express business unit. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Work directly with Sales Teams on new business and growth opportunities. Conduct portfolio reviews with Account Managers to uncover New Business, growth & cross‑selling opportunities. Lead product training & coaching on existing services and roll out of new services. Support ongoing training and development with Sales Teams. Attend customer meetings/reviews with Sales as an Industry Specialist and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients when required. Establish competitor/market information and report market activities and insights to management. Build and maintain relationships between Pricing, Operations, Product to support across all sales business units: Strategic, Mid‑Market, Inside Sales, Business Development. Contribute to the future strategy for specified products, product development, insights, pilot programs. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Ensure solutions are cost‑effective, efficient, and aligned with customer expectations. Monitor the implementation process to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. Required Skills & Competencies Experience working with customers who utilise the specific product. Industry knowledge and understanding of Courier solutions. Excellent time‑management skills, ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously. Negotiating skills to be able to negotiate priorities and deadlines. Influencing skills to convince customers and internal teams to pursue, prioritise and implement solutions. Communication and presentation skills. High level interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication. Team player who is willing to support others and willing to ask for senior management support when needed. Qualifications & Experience Education: Degree qualified in Business / Logistics / Sales or Marketing discipline, or equivalent (preferred). Experience: 5+ years of sales solutions experience.
