Your role in St Andrews War Memorial As part of our Housekeeping team you will provide exceptional cleaning services in patient rooms, wards, offices, theatres and procedural areas. You will operate industrial‑grade cleaning equipment and ensure a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include: Conduct quality support services in a safe environment that meets the needs of all hospital customers. Provide housekeeping/cleaning services within the hospital environment. Maintain, store or retrieve equipment in the work area as requested. Support a large team operating 24/7 to maintain safety for customers, visitors and staff. What makes a difference for us Previous experience as a cleaner/housekeeper in a hospital or nursing environment with knowledge of infection‑control guidelines and standard health precautions. Flexibility to work across all shifts – mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Exceptional communication skills and a team focus to provide excellent customer service to patients and staff. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment. Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital infection‑control requirements.
