About The Role Emerging Technology and Programs (ETP) drives BHP’s performance by leading strategic technology programs, shaping asset technology and digital strategies, and evaluates emerging technologies with the potential to transform BHP’s operations. Our team thrives on collaboration and has a passion for technology, delivering insights that help shape and sustain BHP’s long‑term performance. This role can be based out of Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide office. This role co‑ordinates with key stakeholders across the function to ensure the technology and digital strategy for our assets enables their performance, innovation, and sustainability objectives. Key Accountabilities Include Support development of the technology and digital strategy for our assets, and embedment into asset plans. Contribute to the development of technology foundation strategies (e.g., cloud, network, ERP, data, mining systems) and the integrated technology vision for BHP. Co‑ordinating with the Manager Technology Integrated Strategy to engage with external thought leaders and strategic vendors to assess trends, product roadmaps, and value opportunities for BHP. Collaboration with Commercial, Technology and Digital teams to inform vendor engagement and negotiation strategies that align with BHP’s technology directions. Contribute to a team culture of collaboration, trust, continuous improvement, and innovation. About You Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology, engineering, or related discipline Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and business teams to deliver value. Enthusiastic, confident self‑starter, with the ability to motivate and work autonomously. Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and problem solve.
