As our business expands, we are looking for additional people to join our Sydney Airport Cargo facility located at Sydney International Airport. This facility is minutes away from the M5 and Sydney CBD motorway. dnata provides on the job training to all employees as well as full uniform including PPE at no cost. dnata is proud to offer on the job training and up skilling. This allows for opportunities for career progression and professional development What does a typical day to day look like? Operating a forklift; Tug running freight to and from an aircraft; Breakdown of Cargo on arrival in Sydney; Building cargo up for a flight ready for international departure. Shift information We are a shift work environment with an operation that runs 24/7. Morning shifts, commence between 0400 - 0800 Afternoon/Evening shifts, commence between midday and 1800 All shifts are a minimum of 4 hours, however generally 6-8 hour shifts Penalties & Loading 15% Loading (AM and PM shifts / Monday - Friday) 22.5% Loading (Early AM or post midnight completion / Monday - Friday) 150% Saturday 200% Sunday 200% for all overtime Key attributes for the role Safety first mindset Ability to work independently Strong team player Passionate about developing skills Proven reliably Flexible “can do attitude” Customer focused Respectful to others On the job training Perks Accrue annual leave on all hours worked (at 5 weeks per year) Accrue personal leave on all hours worked (at 15 days per year) Free on site parking On the job training All uniforms and PPE provided Your time is now Now to develop your aviation career and becoming a key member of the dnata team at Perth International Airport this is your chance dnata Pty Limited is culturally diverse and inclusive workplace.
