About the Role Play a leading role in the care and preservation of one of Australia's most significant heritage landscapes. As Senior Horticultural Coordinator, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to the horticultural team at Government House, ensuring the gardens continue to flourish as a living expression of history, beauty, and sustainability. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of horticultural operations, from garden maintenance and restoration to seasonal programming and new plantings while ensuring alignment with the site's curatorial and conservation vision. You'll manage resources, guide planning and budgets, and provide expert advice on horticultural and plant management practices. Balancing the needs of the Vice-Regal program and public access, you'll ensure the grounds are maintained to the highest standards of presentation and care, contributing to the enduring legacy and enjoyment of this remarkable setting. You're passionate about preserving and enhancing significant landscapes through innovation, sustainability, and best-practice care.
