Your New Role We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Leading Hand to join our team on a full‑time basis located in our Brisbane Airport office / warehouse. Bring your flexible, Can‑Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise the unloading and loading of cargo into containers, and cargo trucks etc. Supervise the Loader/Unloader in the efficient operation of warehouse function. Supervise and coordinate the collection and delivery of goods. To work with Warehouse Manager in relation to receiving and dispatching of containers Assist in the performance appraisal of staff, where applicable. Ensure all equipment is in working order and does not need attention. To report to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager any damage to the cargo. Check and Inspect import freight. Inspect and label export freight. Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Move product to assembly area and return finished goods to designated storage area. Take appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non‑conformances. Record internal and external complaints on QIR’s. Take responsibility for documenting Document Change Requests. Take responsibility for completing a Skills Inventory and for ensuring all training received is recorded on personal training inventory. Take responsibility for confining all sourcing to Approved Suppliers, to review all purchase orders that may be documented, and to liaise with the Quality Manager when new suppliers are being considered. Take responsibility for processing all warehouse and distribution requirements in accordance with relevant procedures. What You Need We will help you to be successful in this role. To start you will need: 2 years experience in international forwarding industry. 5 years previous experience in a Leading Hand Position in the forwarding industry. Endorsed Licence Aviation Security Awareness Briefing Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
