We are seeking experienced engineers at a Senior to Principal level to provide technical leadership and expertise for our growing program of work.Our Australian team of 50+ coastal engineers and scientists has a strong reputation of delivering high quality work in design of coastal infrastructure, boating facilities and coastal protection. We also work in coastal adaptation planning, nature-based coastal protection, dredging, port planning and offshore wind.This role is open to applicants across our BMT east coast offices, particularly Sydney, Tasmania or Melbourne.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:Lead the design of coastal infrastructure across Australia including jetties, marinas, wharves, boat ramps, breakwaters, seawalls, revetments and other coastal protection infrastructure. Act as a Project Manager for small to large scale projects and. lead the engagement with the end client. Contribute to a diverse range of coastal and offshore projects working with coastal engineers, mechanical engineers, oceanographers, environmental scientists, naval architects, GIS and approvals specialists. Be aa technical leader in the maritime structures area, conducting internal reviews and contributing to the development of templates and workflows. Providing leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members. Write proposals and support with business development and customer relationship management.
