THE TRUSTEE FOR PALACE HOTEL UNIT TRUST – Kalgoorlie WA Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description The Palace Hotel Kalgoorlie is seeking an experienced Venue Team Leader (Bar) to join our dynamic team. Located in the heart of Kalgoorlie and established in 1897, The Palace Hotel is a historic landmark offering accommodation, meals, and drinks across multiple venues, 7 days a week. We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to take on a supervisory role within our bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service and assisting in the day-to-day running of a bar. This is a full-time contract including living and working in the Goldfields DAMA region. The annual pay range for this position is $76,515 - $78,000 plus superannuation. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support bar/wait staff during service periods Train new team members and monitor service quality Maintain stock levels, ordering, and ensure proper inventory management Provide excellent customer service and uphold presentation standards Staff rostering and shift coordination Ensure compliance with RSA and health and safety regulations Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Qualifications Australian working rights RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification Approved Managers card Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bar or hospitality role, with some supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership and communication skills Solid knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails and wine Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Please ensure your resume is included in your application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
