About You You are a dedicated and passionate language educator who thrives on bringing culture and communication to life in the classroom. You will have: Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) Experience teaching Chinese in a Primary School or equivalent setting A talent for creating engaging, authentic learning experiences that promote linguistic confidence and intercultural understanding Collaborative spirit and the ability to inspire and lead colleagues PYP experience or a strong understanding of Inquiry-based pedagogy A relevant tertiary qualification and teaching credentials ACT Teacher’s Registration (TQI) or eligibility to obtain one Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills A commitment to the broader life of an independent school All team members at CGS are required to have: A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card Excellent technological literacy across a range of applications A current National Police Check; and Full working rights within Australia.
