The Opportunity As the APAC Senior Controller, you will be responsible for the full controllership agenda across the region. This includes financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and partnering closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and shared services teams. You’ll divide your time between: Leading the regional financial control function Strengthening compliance and governanceSupporting manufacturing operations and cost control Driving transformation and better ways of working Coaching and developing your team across multiple locations This is a hybrid role based in West Melbourne – close enough to the action on-site, but with flexibility built in. What You'll Be Doing Lead the Regional Controllership Function Own financial accuracy, compliance, and month-end performance Oversee controls, accounting, and payroll governance across APAC Ensure compliance with local laws, global policy, and international accounting standards Be Embedded in Operations Partner with plant leadership and supply chain teams Support cost accounting, inventory governance, and operational performance Provide insights that drive efficiency and better financial outcomes Shape the Future of Finance Contribute to global and regional finance transformation initiatives Improve processes, systems, and controls Build capability and coach teams across multiple countries Influence Senior Leadership Engage directly with local and global senior leaders Provide strategic advice and commercial insight Represent APAC finance in global forums What We're Looking For You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Experience 10+ years in financial control, accounting, or regulatory compliance Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operational environments Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and compliance frameworks Experience working within global or multi-country structures SAP or similar ERP knowledge is highly regarded Leadership Ability to lead, develop, and empower teams Strong communication and influencing skills A hands‑on approach when needed – but also the ability to operate at a strategic level Mindset Curious, improvement‑driven, and proactive Comfortable with complexity Able to balance detail with big‑picture thinking What’s In It for You?
