The Opportunity We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants to join our Aged Care Team. We have a casual role available. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you. Servicing the Nannup and Surrounding Region (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted) Key Responsibilities Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such as prescribed within the care/support plan enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks incl. making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential. About You A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential. Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential. $41.07 per hour + super Travel allowance of $1.03 per km Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes Discounts from several retailers, health insurance & fitness providers etc. incl.
