The school is located on Dharug land. Our student enrolment is 680, which includes five inclusive classes and a two‑unit preschool. Students come from a wide range of socio‑economic backgrounds, with 15% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples and 54% from an English as an Additional Language or Dialect background. Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach Primary English as an Additional Language or Dialect or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Primary English as an Additional Language or Dialect qualification approved by the NSW Department of Education. Demonstrated experience collaborating with staff to implement English as an Additional Language or Dialect strategies into daily classroom practice for students. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a variety of teams and build positive relationships with all members of the school community. Successfully demonstrated implementation of culturally appropriate programs to meet the English needs of students at a range of assessed language learning phases/levels using principles and practices of evidence‑based EAL/D pedagogy. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
