We're hiring for Senior and Mid-Level Full-Stack TypeScript Developers : Senior Developer : Work as a peer alongside our Lead Engineer, sharing architectural decisions, technical leadership, and helping shape our engineering culture Mid-Level Developer : Work under the guidance of our Lead, with mentorship, structured growth opportunities, and a clear path to senior responsibilities You’ll be building and maintaining features across our construction project management platform using modern TypeScript across the full stack. Think job management workflows, real-time data processing, automation, third-party integrations, and everything in between. Working with BASD Your impact is visible. When you ship a feature, real people use it the next day. When something breaks, they let you know (usually kindly, sometimes urgently). It's fast feedback, high accountability, and genuinely meaningful work. You’ll actually understand what you’re building. We're not asking you to implement features from a ticket queue with no context. You'll talk to builders about their workflows, understand the pain points onsite, and see how your code helps teams manage million-dollar projects more efficiently. NestJS with TypeScript BullMQ with Redis for background jobs Repository pattern, service layer architecture Frontend Next.js 15 with React 19 TypeScript throughout Tailwind CSS v4 Zustand state management What We’re Looking For Technical Experience 5+ years full-stack development experience 3+ years TypeScript in production Strong Node.js experience (NestJS, Express, or similar) Solid React/Next.js background PostgreSQL or similar relational databases Track record of architectural decisions and technical leadership For Mid-Level: 2-4 years full-stack development experience 1-2 years TypeScript Node.js backend framework experience React experience (Next.js is a bonus) Eager to grow into senior responsibilities Both levels need: SQL and database design Third-party API integration experience The Cultural Essentials (This Is The Important Part) We need someone who: ✅ Is genuinely curious about construction You don't need to know how to frame a house, but you should want to understand why builders need certain features and what makes their workflows tick ✅ Thrives on user interaction You're comfortable talking to non-technical stakeholders, gathering requirements, and seeing your software used in real-world scenarios ✅ Finds purpose in practical impact You're motivated by solving real problems for real people, not just building elegant code in isolation ✅ Brings humility and adaptability You ask questions, seek feedback, and approach problems with a learning mindset ✅ Balances quality with pragmatism You care about code quality but understand that sometimes done is better than perfect ✅ Enjoys collaborative work You want to be in the office regularly (we're flexible, but not fully remote), working alongside the team and users This role probably isn’t for you if You only want to work with other engineers You're not interested in business context or user needs You prefer fully remote work with minimal collaboration Nice to Have Experience with NestJS specifically Supabase or similar BaaS platforms Background job processing (Bull, BullMQ) Construction, trades, or field service software experience (this would be amazing) Understanding of accounting workflows Docker and containerisation What We Offer
