About the Role We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with proven experience working in a commercial design environment to join our thriving Sydney office as part of our interior design team, working across multiple sectors such as Commercial, and Workspace. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be involved in managing projects, including project financials and acting as the client contact, with support from our Partners. Strong design acumen and stakeholder management skills are a must. We rely on our designers to manage projects from end to end, and all our designers are required to have strong Revit skills as well as the proven ability to communicate designs and ideas through multiple mediums including Revit, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop. Our open and light-filled Sydney studio is in the heart of the Sydney CBD, close to trains, buses, and ferries, with onsite showers for those who enjoy riding or running to work. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative team of over Architects, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers and Graphic Design professionals. General Responsibilities Play a key role in client briefings, workshops, design, and design development Manage and deliver projects from all stages: concept design, design development, documentation, on-site construction management. Lead and manage your own folio of projects and work closely with our Partners Liaise with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders Contribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, VR etc. About you To be successful in this role you will need: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Commercial or Workspace interior design Passion for design, ideas, and a willingness to innovate. To be a part of our studio culture which can involve attending client and supplier events To be involved in hosting client events and functions Strong or developing client and stakeholder management skills Strong Revit skills Ability to manage projects through all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation, on-site construction management and contract administration A thorough understanding of the fundamental BCA’s and related building regulations and specifications The capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously Passionate about mentoring junior team members What is on Offer?
