Personal Carer – UnitingCare Queensland We are looking for passionate Personal Carers to join our Community Care Team. If you have a love for caring and want to empower others to live fully, we’d love to hear from you. About the Role As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Key Responsibilities Travel to clients’ homes to complete scheduled visits and provide one‑on‑one support with daily activities. Assist with in‑home personal care tasks such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing. Support clients in accordance with their individualised Care Plan. Facilitate community‑based recreational and social activities. Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments. Qualifications and Experience Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification – Essential . Current Australian driver’s licence and own road‑worthy insured vehicle – Essential (International driver’s licences will not be considered). Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets and laptops. Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. Employment Details Employment Status: Permanent Part Time Location: Ayr, Home Hill & Surrounding Areas Remuneration: $35.51 per hour plus 12% Super, not‑for‑profit salary packaging, allowances and travel reimbursement. Benefits Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum for everyday living expenses and up to $2,650 per annum for meal entertainment.
