We are seeking a Casual Dental Assistant for our Bondi Dental Center As a Casual Dental Assistant for our Bondi Dental Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. You will provide clinical assistance to our dentists, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support the efficient running of our dental centre. Your responsibilities will include: Patient Flow: Prepare for patient appointments, coordinate with the dentist, and liaise with reception for scheduling and payments. Chair Side Assisting: Set up instruments and materials, assist with clinical procedures, perform data entry, and develop radiographs. Surgery Organisation: Maintain infection control, clean and maintain the surgery, manage waste, and assist other Dental Assistants as needed. Sterile Supply Unit: Clean and prepare handpieces for sterilisation, process instruments, maintain stock levels, and report any fraudulent activity. Work Health and Safety (WHS): Comply with WHS policies, report hazardous conditions, and participate in health and safety activities. Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Dental knowledge and experience, neat appearance, good personal hygiene, confidentiality, initiative, and basic computer skills. Desirable: Experience in reception duties, qualifications in radiography, sterilising, first aid, and a Certificate III in dental assisting.
